San Miguel de Allende has been named as the most beautiful city in the world for 2 years in a row. If you ask me, a day trip to this city is enough as you don't have a lot of things to do. San Miguel de Allende is a picturesque and traditional mexican city full of colours.

1.La Parroquia de San Miguel de Arcangel :
La Parroquia is the most important sight of the city. You can see it even from a long distance. It is located in the centre of the city next to the plaza Principal. The church and its architecture are stunning.
2.Museo Historico de San Miguel de Allende.
You can learn the history of the city and it is close to La Parroquia.
3.Drink coffee.
Mexico has one of the best coffee in the world, so drink coffee at a traditional place with courtyard.
