L:Dracula Castle, Romania

Dracula's Castle is most commonly associated with Bran Castle in Romania, which is a major tourist attraction. It’s situated in the Carpathian Mountains near the city of Brașov, and while it's tied to the legend of Count Dracula  the castle has a historical connection to the Vlad the Impaler (Vlad III), who inspired the Dracula character.

Bran Castle, though, was never actually the home of Vlad the Impaler. Vlad's connection to the castle is more of a symbolic one, due to his reputation for cruelty and his association with the region.

Have you ever visited or thought about visiting the castle, or is this just an interest in the legend itself?

Το Κάστρο του Δράκουλα συνδέεται συχνότερα με το Κάστρο Μπραν στη Ρουμανία, το οποίο αποτελεί σημαντικό τουριστικό αξιοθέατο. Βρίσκεται στα Καρπάθια Όρη κοντά στην πόλη Μπρασόβ, και ενώ είναι συνδεδεμένο με τον θρύλο του Κόμη Δράκουλα, το κάστρο έχει ιστορική σύνδεση με τον Βλαντ τον Χαλκιδωτή , ο οποίος ενέπνευσε τον χαρακτήρα του Δράκουλα.

Το Κάστρο Μπραν, ωστόσο, δεν ήταν ποτέ στην πραγματικότητα το σπίτι του Βλαντ . Η σύνδεση του Βλαντ με το κάστρο είναι περισσότερο συμβολική, λόγω της φήμης του και της σχέσης του με την περιοχή.
