Review:Jacques Fath Perfumes

Jacques Fath was known for dressing the “young Chic Parisian “during the 40’s, and he attracted well-known and wealthy clients. Hubert de Givenchy, Guy Laroche and Valentino Garavani – all worked as assistants in his atelier and later would form their own Fashion Houses.The spirit of Jacques Fath perfumes is captured today within the Fath’s Essentials Collection, its contemporary design and emblematic codes.It all started when passionate perfume lovers met: Rania Naim, art director of Jacques Fath Parfums, Cécile Zarokian, talented perfumer and Luca Maffei, rising star of niche perfumery.

Ο Jacques Fath ήταν γνωστός ως ο σχεδιαστής των «νέων Chic Parisian» κατά τη διάρκεια της δεκαετίας του '40 και προσέλκυσε γνωστούς και πλούσιους πελάτες. Our choices are:

Velour Boise:A woody,amber,whisky fragrance

Top: Bergamot, Davana, Mate, Spices (cloves, elemi and mutmeg)

Heart: Immortelle, Whisky CO², Carrot seeds, Patchouli

Base: New Caledonia Sandalwood, Armenian Woods, Gaïac Wood, Ambroxan

This is a more masculine scent that opens with the whisky so it is spicy and and rich dry thanks to the woods.After this,immortelle accents start to form and in the dry-down, enveloping Armenian and Guaiac add a smoky touch.

L’Orée du Bois is originally a dress designed by Jacques Fath for Rita Hayworth’s wedding night. For the perfumer Luca Maffei, the gold color symbolizes this sensual actress and therefore, he created a unique Gold accord (Cumin, Saffron, Cinnamon).You can describe the scent a little gourmant as well sine the honey is pretty obvious when you apply.The Mimosa flower, dry Broom and rich Orange blossom Absolute form a little citrus atmosphere that blends beautifully with the other ingredients leaving a woody scent at the end.

Το L'Orée du Bois είναι αρχικά ένα φόρεμα που σχεδιάστηκε από τον Jacques Fath για τη γαμήλια βραδιά της Rita Hayworth. Για τον αρωματοποιό Luca Maffei, το χρυσό χρώμα συμβολίζει αυτήν την αισθησιακή ηθοποιό και ως εκ τούτου, δημιούργησε μια μοναδική χρυσή συμφωνία (κύμινο, σαφράν, κανέλα). Les Frivolités:A Leather floral perfume

Head: Bergamot, Paradisamide, Osmanthus, Pink Pepper

Heart: Rosa Centifolia Abslut, Rose flavored Macaron accord

Bottom: Suede, Orris Butter, Sandalwood, Amber, Musk

Les Frivolités is a voluptuous skin fragrance expertly dosed with flowery and animal notes. What appears to be light is in fact a powerful scent, very feminine with a different and new approach of Rose flavored Macaron accord, then wrapped with a soft and sensual Suede accord.

Το Les Frivolités είναι ένα εντυπωσιακό άρωμα με ειδικές δόσεις από ανθισμένες και ζωικές νότες. Rosso Epicureo:A Floral Oriental fragrance

Head: Kir Royal Accord, Bitter Orange, Bergamot, Plum

Heart: Tuberose Absolute, Rosa Damascena, Orange Blossom, Jasmin, Ylang Ylang

Bottom: Patchouli, Amber, Vanilla, Muscone Laevo

The Italian name of this fragrance is a hint to the perfumer’s origins. With its distinctive plum color, Rosso Epicureo celebrates ‘la joie de vivre”. It is a way of living, a state of mind, an “Epicurean philosophy “conveyed by this lively fragrance with a Kir Royal accord (Blackcurrant, Davana and Sichuan Pepper.)The perfume has in fact a dry and slightly moist fruity alcoholic touch, something that by the combination of the davana, currant and pepper aroma creates the sensation of a ripe fruity aroma and a bit of bitter grape / wine.

Το ιταλικό όνομα αυτού του αρώματος είναι μια υπόδειξη για την προέλευσή του. Με το ιδιαίτερο χρώμα του δαμάσκηνου, ο Rosso Epicureo γιορτάζει το «la joie de vivre». All of the perfumes need at least an hour to react fully with your body and show their aromas.Also,these last really long.
