L:What to do in Berlin

When we plan a trip we always make a to do list. We stayed 3 days in Berlin and the time was enough so as to explore the city.If you think to travel to Berlin , then you should visit some of the most important sightseeings of the city. Some of them are the Brandenburg Gate, one of the most striking symbols of Berlin and the Reichstag which is the seat of the German parliament . Don' t forget to visit the Museum Island with the Pergamonmuseum, the Bode-Museum, the Neus Museum, the Alte Nationalgalerie and the Altes Museum and the island is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.Moreover, the Berlin Wall and the TV Tower.

Όταν σχεδιάζουμε ένα ταξίδι πάντα κάνουμε μια λίστα με αυτά που αξίζει να δούμε ανάλογα με τις μέρες που θα μείνουμε. Στο Βερολίνο μείναμε 3 μέρες και μπορώ να πω ότι ο χρόνος ήταν αρκετός για να εξερευνήσουμε την πόλη.Αν σκέφτεσαι να ταξιδέψεις στο Βερολίνο, τότε πρέπει να επισκεφτείς μερικά από τα πιο σημαντικά αξιοθέατα της πόλης. Μερικά από αυτά είναι φυσικά η Πύλη του Βρανδεμβούργου που αποτελεί και το σύμβολο της πόλης και το κτίριο του Ράιχσταγκ που στεγάζει το γερμανικό ομοσπονδιακό κοινοβούλιο. Μην παραλείψετε να επισκεφτείτε το Νησί των Μουσείων που έχει 5 σημαντικά μουσεία και έχει χαρακτηριστεί Μνημείο Παγκόσμιας Κληρονομιάς από την UNESCO. Ακόμη το τείχος του Βερολίνου , αλλά και το TV Tower.

Where to eat in Berlin:Nobelhart&Schmutzig-Not your ordinary restaurant

Let's start by saying that Nobelhart&Schmutzig is not a restaurant.Well,of course you go there to eat but the whole atmosphere makes you call it an experience.It is like a ritual,because before you enter the restaurant,you should ring the bell in order to get in.Then,you are welcomed and you head straight to your table,that you then realise that it is not a table,just a very comfortable long counter that wraps around the food prep area in the center and you see the chefs work their magic.The menu is consisted of 10 carefully selected courses,always with seasonal products.What is important to mention is that they only use locally made products from producers they know.That means they won't use products that are not grown in the surroundings of Berlin,such as pepper,lemons or chocolate.Eating at Nobelhart & Schmutzig is a holistic experience and the 10-course-menu will satisfy you.Every dish is better that the other and the quality of them is really high.What came as a surprise was that you also get a dessert for back home after you finish your meal.Of course they can also accommodate sensitivities, allergies or vegetarian and vegan lifestyles.Overall,we definitely recommend you visit this restaurant if you are looking for something different.
Ps.You will only see a couple of dishes in the photos,that is because we got to experience the atmosphere and photos came last in mind.

Ας αρχίσουμε λέγοντας ότι το Nobelhart&Schmutzig δεν είναι ένα εστιατόριο.Εντάξει,φυσικά και πας εκεί για να φας αλλά η όλη ατμόσφαιρα σε οδηγεί στο να το αποκαλέσεις εμπειρία.Η εμπειρία αυτή μοιάζει με τελετουργικό που αρχικά μόλις φτάσεις,τίποτα στη βιτρίνα δεν σε προϊδεάζει για το ότι μπαίνεις σε ένα εστιατόριο πόσο μάλλον για το τι θα ακολουθήσει.Για να εισέλθεις πρέπει να χτυπήσεις το κουδούνι,όπου έρχεται κάποιος να σε παραλάβει και να σε οδηγήσει στο χώρο που θα γευματίσεις,όλα αυτά γίνονται σε ένα χώρο που δεν βλέπεις το εσωτερικό.Μόλις σε οδηγήσουν στον κυρίως χώρο διαπιστώνεις πως δεν πρόκειται να κάτσεις σε τραπέζι,αλλά σε ένα μεγάλο πάγκο που σχηματίζει ένα ανάποδο Π και ενώνεται στο εσωτερικό του με την κουζίνα όπου μπορείς να παρακολουθήσεις τους σεφ να ετοιμάζουν τα πιάτα τους.Το μενού αποτελείται από 10 πιάτα,ειδικά επιλεγμένα και πάντα με προϊόντα εποχικά.Αυτό που είναι σημαντικό να σημειωθεί εδώ,είναι ότι…
