Paris,as i guess needs no introduction.I consider it one of the must visit cities in Europe and is a city that won’t dissapoint you.From food and fashion to culture and architecture,Paris has so many choices for you that you definitely won’t get bored at all.
Paris is better to visit in the warmer months,May and summer till mid November is good.but be aware that you may face daily rains if you are there in May or fall.We visited Paris in late May,and we were lucky enough to have rain just one afternoon,while the week before we arrived was raining on a daily basis.
Now,getting around Paris is not your piece of cake.That said,the transportation system is quite simple and easy but it may be tricky to choose your pass for your stay.Paris tourism offers a wide range of tourist passes for every need.Some of these passes,vary in price depending on which zones of Paris (1-5) you want to visit,if you want it to include museum passes,or other attractions.What we did and suggest,in order not to get lost in this chaos,is to get the Navigo Decouverte Semaine(=week) card that is available each week till Thursday midnight.This card includes metro,buses and trains for all of Paris,Versailles,Disneyland and airports as well for one week expiring midnight of(every) Sunday which means zones 1-5.With this card,you have limitless access to all means of transport for a week and costs 22.80euros plus 5euros for the issue of the card.It is quite advantageous since you need at least 10euros from the airport to the city and another 10euros to go back.Make sure to bring with you small passport photos with you for the card.

Το Παρίσι,όπως υποθέτω,δεν χρειάζεται εισαγωγή.Το θεωρώ ως μία πόλη από αυτές που πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να επισκεφτείς στην Ευρώπη.Από το φαγητό στη μόδα,και από το πολιτισμό στην αρχιτεκτονική,το Παρίσι προσφέρει τόσες επιλογές που δεν θα βαρεθείς ποτέ.
Είναι καλύτερο να επισκεφτείς το Παρίσι τους πιο ζεστούς μήνες,το Μάϊο και το καλοκαίρι μέχρι μέσα Νοέμβρη, απλά έχε στο νου σου αν πας μήνες εκτός καλοκαιριού,μπορεί να έχεις καθημερινές βροχές.Εμείς πήγαμε τέλη Μαΐου και ήμασταν αρκετά τυχεροί να έχουμε βροχή μόνο ένα απόγευμα,ενώ την εβδομάδα πριν πάμε έβρεχε καθημερινά.

L:Riga Vibes

Arriving in Riga after a 4hour trip from Vilnius,i was a little tired to visit museums and churches from the first day.
Me and Marina decided to go for a walk in our neighbourhood,the old town of Riga and then go for dinner.

Φτάνοντας στη Ρίγα μετά από 4 ώρες ταξίδι από το Βίλνιους, ήμουν λιγάκι κουρασμένη για να επισκεφτώ τα μουσεία και τις εκκλησίες της πόλης. Έτσι, εγώ και η Μαρίνα αποφασίσαμε να πάμε μια βόλτα στην περιοχή μας . την παλιά πόλη της Ρίγας και μετά για δείπνο.
