Queretaro is a city in Mexico which is close to the famous San Miguel de Allende, but we think that deserves more attention. This capital is a thriving city of nearly a million people. The centro historico of Queretaro has recognised as one of Mexico's 35 Unesco World Heritage Sites.
Queretaro is also a city full of tradition, history, architecture and monuments.The picturesque streets with the churches and the fountains are the real Mexico. It is one of the safest cities in Mexico as well, so a visit here is a must.


Το Querétaro είναι μία πόλη στο Μεξικό η οποία είναι πολύ κοντά στο φημισμένο San Miguel de Allende, αλλά νομίζουμε ότι αξίζει περισσότερη προσοχή.

What to do :

1. A walk at the Historic Centre
As an Unesco World Heritage, Queretaro's centro historico has many things to do. A car free centre with countless of monuments on your way. You can have a taste of the mexican culture and civilisation.
2.Museums
There are many museums around the city such as the Art Museum of Queretaro, the Museum of the City, the Queretaro Regional Museum etc.
3.Go to church.
A visit to the full of architecture and historic churches are on the list. One of the most important churches in town is the Templo de Santa Clara.
4.Relax at the plazas de Queretaro.
There are a lot of beautiful parks and plazas in Queretaro. There are also events in these so don't miss to relax and take your walk at one of the plazas.
5. Go shopping.
Local artisans sell their products from handmade jewelry and bags to traditional carpets and unique mexican crafts. Mexican coffee is also a must buy because it is one of the best in the world.
When to go : From September to April
Queretaro can get chilly, particularly at night,so don't forget to take a jacket with you.

Where to stay : Morazul, a traditional hotel on the centro historico of Queretaro. A boutique hotel with very good staff and comfortable rooms. The location is perfect to explore the city on foot.

Επιβάλλεται μία επίσκεψη στις γεμάτο αρχιτεκτονική ιστορικές εκκλησίες. Μία από τις πιο σημαντικές εκκλησίες στην πόλη είναι το Τemplo De Santa Clara.

Υπάρχουν πολλά όμορφα πάρκα και πλατείες στο Κερέταρο. Υπάρχουν επίσης πολλές εκδηλώσεις στις οποίες μπορείς να χαλαρώσεις και να απολαύσεις τα vibes της πόλης.

Ντόπιοι καλλιτέχνες πουλάνε τα προϊόντα τους από χειροποίητα κοσμήματα και τσάντες μέχρι παραδοσιακά χάλια και μοναδικά μεξικανικά σουβενίρ.

Μπορεί να έχει ψύχρα,ειδικά το βράδυ, οπότε μην ξεχάσεις να πάρεις μία ζακέτα μαζί σου.

Που να μείνεις
Το Morazul, ένα παραδοσιακό ξενοδοχείο στο ιστορικό κέντρο του  Κερετάρο. Ένα Boutique Hotel με πολύ καλό προσωπικό και άνετα δωμάτια. Η τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετική για να ανακαλύψεις την πόλη με τα πόδια αφού βρίσκεται πάνω στην κεντρική πλατεία.
